Free Bingo Scam?

What sort of casino tricks are involved in this scenario? I play the slots a Mecca Bingo on occasion is the online casino slots section. I took a look at the bingo and noticed a prize of £300. I was tempted so I entered the room and bought tickets for 10p each.

This was 90 ball bingo so the prize was divided into £50 for one line, £100 for two lines and £150 for the full house. There were also some juicy jackpots associated with the game if bingo was called in a certain amount of numbers. The game was a mixture of free bingo players and Superbook players. Superbooks are the free tickets upgraded to 10p each for a shot at higher prizes. It took me a moment to get the hang of it and grasp what I had gotten myself into. I played approximately 6 games and each prize was taken by a free bingo player. They did get a fraction of the prizes at £1 line, £2 two lines and £3 for the house.

I started to realize that my purchase was simply paying for the free bingo prize. After I spent all my cash, I hung around to play free bingo in the same room. I must’ve played at least 15 games and every prize went to a free player. The free players get 36 cards for free. The competition is insane because there are times when the roomies approach 600. What are the odds of winning?

Do you think this type of thing is somewhat of a scam and a money maker for the online casino? Granted, I should have known and had my wits about me but the prizes were so tempting if you bought a Superbook. After what I’ve seen I won’t be playing in that room again.
